History
Usina Rio Pardo started in 2006, where a company was hired to carry out a feasibility study for the implementation of a sugarcane industry in the region of Avaré-SP and Cerqueira César-SP; upon approval, the companies were incorporated and in November 2006 the office of Usina Rio Pardo was inaugurated in Avaré-SP, sugarcane planting and equipment orders initiated.
In November 2007 the Plant obtained the Preliminary Environmental License and in January 2008 it obtained the Installation License, starting earth working. The construction of the Plant began in April 2008 and in April 2009 it obtained the Operating License. The first harvest began in July 2009 with the production of Ethanol and in November of the same year with the production of sugar and energy. In 2011, occurred the expansion of the Sugar Factory, starting from 10,000 sacks/day to 18,000 sacks day.
Usina Rio Pardo has the capacity to produce, daily, 550 thousand liters of Hydrous Ethanol, 500 thousand of neutral ethanol, 18 thousand sacks of sugar and generate 35 MW of bioelectricity.
In 2020, Usina Rio Pardo was sold, having new shareholders, and becoming one of the largest plants producing neutral ethanol.
