As with the application of the Young Apprentice Law, the URP also combined social action with compliance with the law that determines the hiring of people with special needs. Called the Germinar Project, this action provided the hiring of with special needs people from the APAE Avaré and Cerqueira César units, who are working on the cultivation of seedlings and the planting of Greens, Vegetables, medicinal herbs and flowers. Working a four-hour workday, those assisted receive the benefits recommended by labor legislation.
